About Me

My name is Amanda Glazer. I'm currently a PhD candidate in Statistics at UC Berkeley and baseball operations associate analyst for the San Francisco Giants.

My research focuses on nonparametric methods and causal inference with applications in the social sciences. Reproducibility, replicability and evaluating the appropriateness of statistical methods are especially important to me.

I'm very passionate about increasing diversity and promoting inclusivity in STEM. I have served as co-chair of the Berkeley Statistics Graduate Student Association's Diversity Committee and as a Statistics Department Steward for our union, UAW 2865.
